Arbonne Product Review

This last summer, my husband and I each won up to $100 worth of free products from Arbonne! For anyone who may not know, Arbonne is a company which sells all vegan, cruelty-free beauty and healthy products. They have everything from protein powders, make-up, to salt scrubs; there is a lot of fantastic products to choose from. The downside is Arbonne products are on the pricey side, however, the quality is phenomenal as each product is based from plant materials and free of chemicals. Today I’m sharing my personal review of the products which my husband and I won!

The products we won included a water bottle, sleep well spray, massage gel, hair mask, massage oil, and bath salts.

Water Bottle:

refreshing-water-bottle

Pros:

  • Large 1 liter water bottle with many increments on it.
  • BPA Free!
  • Large mouth spigot.
  • Doesn’t leak (yet)!

Cons:

  • Hard to open lid while driving.
  • Feels like cheap plastic.

Conclusion: I’ve had better quality water bottles in the past, but that being said, this one hasn’t leaked on me yet! Every water bottle I’ve ever had, starts to leak after awhile. I love that this water bottle is 1 liter because it’s easier for me to keep track of how much water I’m drinking. I take it to work along with my other 1 liter bottle so I have plenty of fresh water with me at all times!

Sleep Well Spray:

sleepy-spray-and-cool-muscle-gel

Pros:

  • Helps me fall asleep in 30 mins.
  • Blend of relaxing herbs.
  • Tastes good!
  • Convenient size and easy to use.

Cons:

  • One dose is 6-7 sprays.
  • Not what I expected.

Summary: For some reason, when I picked this spray from the catalog, I thought I was supposed spray it on my face. I have no idea why I thought that! Yet, I was so looking forward to spraying it all over my face and falling fast asleep…. I was quite disappointed when I learned it’s supposed to be sprayed on my tongue. Nonetheless, I do fall quickly asleep when I use it, and it helps me relax greatly! I would highly recommend this to anyone who has trouble falling asleep.

Muscle Gel:

Pros:

  • Completely erases pain from tender muscles.
  • Minty fresh scent, and cools inflamed muscles.
  • Absorbs easily through skin.

Cons:

  • Can be painful in sensitive skin areas.

Summary: As a runner, I’m really lucky to have a product like this. Sometimes, my hamstrings hurt when I run long distance, so this muscle gel is the perfect, natural trick to cure my pain. It’s even better than Advil, really! I feel like all my pain disappears when I use this gel. Just be careful not to touch your eyes, nose, mouth, or any other sensitive area after applying, even after washing your hands. The minty scent and cooling effect could hurt those areas.

Hair Mask:

hair-mask-silky

Pros:

  • Very re-hydrating, leave-in conditioner.
  • Silky finish without looking greasy!
  • A little goes a long way.
  • Flexible time lengths.
  • Instant results.

Cons:

  • NONE!

Summary: I have very fine hair that is always damaged, no matter what I do to it. I don’t really like to use coconut oil for my hair because if I put on a little tooooo much, then my hair becomes a big grease ball. I love this leave in conditioner because my hair looked much healthier right after the first use. You can use more than once a week or keep it in longer for really damaged hair. I personally like putting a small amount on towel-dried hair after using it in the shower. I highly recommend buying this product, especially if you have hair like mine!

Massage Oil:

massage-oil-smooth

Pros:

  • Silky, smooth massage oil.
  • Smells great!
  • A lot of oil for your buck.

Cons:

  • Very slippery, beware of massaged feet!

Summary: I picked this item from Arbonne because my husband and I love to give each other massages, but we hate using lotion. Lotion just absorbs in the skin, so we end up going through a lot of it. Since this is made from oils, a little dab goes a long way. I bet this bottle will last me years! It’s also slippery, so just be careful after your feet are massaged. A couple times I’ve almost slipped on hard wood floors!

Bath Salts:

relaxing-bath-salt

Pros:

  • Relaxing bath salts.
  • Blissful scent.
  • Silky smooth coat on my skin after a bath.
  • Big tub, large size.
  • Chunky rocks.

Cons:

  • NONE!

Summary: I love love taking baths with all my heart. I know I could probably get cheaper bath salts at Walgreen’s, but I couldn’t resist the opportunity to get the high-end stuff! It is definitely worth it. I love these salts, they are great addition to my bath. I love the way it smells the most, and then I smell good all night long!

Arbonne products are sold through individual consultants. Megan Gifford, the consultant which gifted my husband and I these incredible products, was one of the kindest people I’ve ever met. If you plan on purchasing products from Arbonne, please buy them from her site at www.megangifford.arbonne.com. I know I will in the future!
