School is starting up for me soon which means I won’t be able to post as much, sadly! If you’re wondering, Red, Yellow, Green, Go Vegan is coming very very soon though! Before I begin school and won’t be able to post as much, I would like to share my accomplishment of the summer of actually hiking the Grouse Grind! I wanted to do it last summer, but I never got around to doing it. This summer I was too busy, but then I told myself NOPE I’m making time for it. I have to say, it wasn’t a very good hike. It was pretty much all stairs and it was terribly rocky. I recommend doing it once in your life, especially if you live in Vancouver, but I don’t see myself doing it in the future. I am very proud of myself for getting out there and doing it though and that’s all that really matters! Getting out into nature and going for hikes connects me to the Earth, which gives me a lot of spiritual insight. I feel like we all should get out into nature at least once a day in order to connect with our higher-selves. Since I’m basically a hermit when I’m studying, perhaps that will be my goal for the upcoming school year!
